The Sunnanvind project is led by the Government of Åland. Sunnanvind's mission is to enable offshore wind power in the northern maritime areas, maximizing the benefits for Åland as quickly as possible. The project is conducting preparatory work for the auctioning of the rights to utilize these maritime areas.
